As a Build and Test Engineer at Star Stable you will:

  • Develop and maintain the build pipeline for the developers (CMake)
  • Implement and maintain the continuous integration and delivery pipeline (Jenkins)
  • Create and maintain automated tests running in continuous builds to catch defects before going into production
  • Promote best debugging practices and identify areas of improvement
  • Work closely together with our release manager to make sure everything runs smoothly for our weekly releases

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 4 years of experience working with software development
  • Previous experience working as a build engineer
  • Strong knowledge in C++
  • Solid experience with source control management tools (e.g. Perforce, Git)
  • Experience with project generation using CMake
  • Familiarity implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and Groovy)
  • Strong empathy for our target audience and belief in our mission and values

It’s considered a plus if you also have:

  • Experience working with XCode and Visual Studio
  • Experience working with unit tests and other automated testing tools
  • Experience working with multiple platforms such as MacOS, iOS, Linux, and Windows
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field
