HR Director (Parental Leave Cover)

As the HR Director for Star Stable, you will work closely with the business and the CEO to ensure that the HR strategies align with the business objectives. You will be responsible for both setting HR programs and strategies and be an active partner to Star Stable’s managers and advise them in all people issues. You will be responsible for the HR budget and have a team of three direct reports. 

This is a parental cover thats starts September 2019 until October 2020.

The HR Director supports the people management functions that underpin the business culture.  You’ll be able to make an impact by focusing on building the organization and developing the leadership. The broad areas include: employer branding, organizational development, recruitment, employee matters, compensation and benefits, reward, professional growth, communications and performance development.

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Establish a trusted partnership with a diverse set of business leaders
  • Create people plans with your designated people managers to ensure a proactive approach to our talent
  • Coach and develop your team
  • Support organisational development, re-design, change & engagement
  • Drive leadership and team development and foster a culture of learning
  • Implementation of new HR programs and processes
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws and requirements
  • Work with the recruitment process and ensure managers have the tools to select the best people
  • Drive improvements when it comes to performance development
  • Analyze and follow-up on the KPIs set by the organization

Qualifications:

  •  University degree within HR or similar
  • About 5-10 years of broad HR experience. A combination of working in a larger company and being part of a scaling start-up preferred
  • Driving organization design and development in a company going through transformation
  • Experiencing implementing large scale change management projects throughout the organization
  • Our company language is English. You must be comfortable communicating at all levels and all formats in English
  • Experience from a growing company with global presence is highly preferred
  • Experience working with agile methodologies in organisation design
